This is an enlargement of the informal Triangle Survivors Group originally formed in 1955. Our Goals Are: To assist in perpetuating the memory of all those lost on the tragic day of March 25,1911 in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. To sponsor and support memorials, ceremonies and projects that encourage all to remember the tragedy and memorialize all victims. The victims include the grandmother, Caterina [38] and the aunts, Lucia [18] and Rosarea [14] of Triangle Association members Vincent, Serphin, Paula and Andrew Maltese. To support and continue tributes, compilations and testimonials to the 146 victims, their families and those heroic immigrants whose labor and sacrifice made America great. To prepare for an appropriate memorialization of the 100th Anniversary of the tragedy so that all remember the victims and the tragedy and ensure that a similar disaster never occurs again.
